Download iCal FilePre-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a work authorization available to eligible F-1 students prior to program completion. It is used to gain off-campus work experience in the student's field of study when practical training is otherwise not required by the curriculum. International students in F-1 status that are interested in learning more about pre-completion OPT including eligibility requirements, application process, and impact on post-completion OPT are encouraged to attend this informational webinar.
Registration for the webinar is required and log-on details will be provided upon registration. Students must attend a Pre-Completion OPT Workshop prior to submitting an authorization request to OIS.
Please note that late arrival to the workshop or early departure is not allowed. If you are not able to log into your scheduled Pre-Completion OPT Workshop at the starting time, you will be advised to reschedule for the next available workshop.
