2021 U.S. Tax Filing Support for the UIC International Community
If you are an international student, exchange visitor, or employee and you were physically present in the U.S. during calendar year 2021, you must submit at least one tax document to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in order to meet your tax filing obligation and properly maintain status. The general deadline for 2021 tax filings is Monday, April 18, 2022. While the Office of International Services cannot directly advise you on your specific tax filing obligation, we have organized two valuable resources to support you in this process.
