Expedited Processing of EAD Renewals Available to Some Healthcare Workers
U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) released guidance on Dec. 28, 2021, on how certain healthcare workers with pending employment authorization document (EAD) renewals could request expedited processing of their submitted Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. Current members of the UIC international community in healthcare or departments employing international healthcare workers utilizing an EAD are encouraged to contact OIS if they feel a case may be eligible for expediting under this new guidance.
