Follow-Up on Fall 2021 Campus Vaccine Guidelines
On June 21, UIC shared initial COVID-19 vaccination guidelines for the fall 2021 semester. In short, all students who plan to be on campus for the fall will be required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine if they are able to do so. While the announcement states that more details are forthcoming, know that the Office of International Services is working hard to communicate the unique challenges of our community to those developing the campus COVID-19 vaccination guidelines and to get answers to questions about international vaccines, immunization documentation requirements, international arrivals, and possible guidelines for international exchange visitors and employees. As soon as these details are available, we will share them with you.
If you plan to physically be on-campus this fall, we encourage you to review the initial guidelines closely and make a plan to receive your COVID-19 vaccine if you are able to do so. If you have questions or concerns about the vaccination guidelines, please submit them through the registration form for our upcoming virtual town hall on July 9 (listed below) or reach out us at email@example.com or +1 (312) 996-3121.
