Follow-Up on Fall 2021 Campus Vaccine Guidelines
On June 21, UIC shared initial COVID-19 vaccination guidelines for the fall 2021 semester. In short, all students who plan to be on campus for the fall will be required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine if they are able to do so. While the announcement states that more details are forthcoming, know that the Office of International Services is working hard to communicate the unique challenges of our community to those developing the campus COVID-19 vaccination guidelines and to get answers to questions about international vaccines, immunization documentation requirements, international arrivals, and possible guidelines for international exchange visitors and employees. As soon as these details are available, we will share them with you.
If you plan to physically be on-campus this fall, we encourage you to review the initial guidelines closely and make a plan to receive your COVID-19 vaccine if you are able to do so. OIS Virtual Town Hall: Fall 2021 Campus Vaccine & Self-Quarantine Guidance for the UIC International Community

Join the Office of International Services and special guest, Dr. Susan Bleasdale, key leader in UIC's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, for a question and answer session regarding the fall 2021 campus vaccine guidelines and self-quarantine recommendations for those returning to campus from abroad.
Register and submit questions by Wednesday, July 7.
Obtain Your COVID-19 Vaccine
If you have not received your COVID-19 vaccine yet, now is the time! All people living in the U.S. aged 12 and up are eligible for a free COVID-19 vaccine. UI Health continues to provide COVID-19 vaccine services on-campus. At the Credit Union 1 Arena, located next to the Student Services Building, you can schedule an appointment or simply walk-in, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
