Oct. 2 USCIS Fee Increases on Hold
The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California has issued a nationwide preliminary injunction enjoining fee increases for citizenship and other immigration benefits. USCIS responded to the injunction on their website.
As a result, the changes to USCIS fees and Premium Processing periods outlined by OIS on July 31 and the resulting OIS fee adjustments shared on Sept. 24 will not take effect on Oct. 2 as previously communicated. Current fee structures will remain in place until further notice.
