Update on billing practices for UPS shipping costs
Effective Feb. 1, 2023, the Office of International Services will return to its normal process of billing departments for UPS shipping costs associated with employment-based immigration documents. At the onset of the pandemic in 2020, OIS began absorbing these costs as a courtesy to departments without staff physically on campus and able to collect and ship immigration documents independently.
Now that the return to campus has been established, departments can choose to have OIS prepare UPS shipments on their behalf and be billed for the cost or collect the documents from our office to be distributed per departmental preference.
