Founded in 1970 as the Peoria Medical School, UIC College of Medicine Peoria offers numerous opportunities for clinical training and research in a rural environment. The campus has 14 distinct academic departments and many offer comprehensive clinical resources and services to central Illinois. OIS provides immigration advising and cultural adjustment resources to all international students, scholars and faculty at the UIC College of Medicine Peoria campus.
