ECFMG Alien Physicians
The Education Commission on Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) sponsors visas in the J-1 EV Physician category. The Graduate Medical Education (GME) office within the University of Illinois College of Medicine facilitates placements of foreign medical residents seeking temporary training experiences at one of our four campus locations.
While the Office of International Services does not provide immigration advising for J-1 EV Physicians sponsored by ECFMG, we support your success by helping connect you to valuable resources and offering educational and cultural programming. We are happy you are here!
